How do I log in?
- Open the app and sign in with your Whisker account credentials when prompted.
- After login, the app pulls your robot list and starts monitoring status updates.
How do I add and configure the home-screen widget?
- Long-press your home screen, tap the + button, and add the Litter Robot Companion widget.
- Long-press the widget and choose Edit Widget to pick the robot and display mode (Simple or Detailed).
How do I add and configure the lock-screen widget?
- Long-press the lock screen, tap Customize, and add the Litter Robot Companion lock-screen widget.
- Tap the widget while editing to choose the robot and display type.
How do I choose which conditions to follow?
- Open app Settings and use the Conditions to Watch section.
- Enable only the alerts you care about, such as bin full, low litter in globe, hopper empty, or other serious faults.
How does snooze work?
- You can snooze for a chosen number of hours or snooze until a specific time of day.
- This is useful if you are at work and want the reminder to resurface when you are likely free to handle it.
What about privacy and security?
- The app communicates with Whisker services to authenticate and retrieve robot status.
- It does not send your account or robot data to servers operated by the app maker.
- Its data flow is limited to Whisker endpoints used for robot functionality and does not rely on unrelated third-party telemetry servers.
